Overview of DIFIKOM

DIFIKOM (Design Fotografi Komunikasi) is a student community within the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication (FDK) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Established in 2012, it serves as an incubator for developing student interest, talent, and creativity in the fields of graphic design and photography. DIFIKOM provides a collaborative learning space for students to sharpen their visual communication skills while expanding their creative networks.

The community's core activities include specialized design and photography classes, thematic workshops, and creative dialogues aimed at enhancing members' technical and conceptual capabilities. Furthermore, DIFIKOM regularly organizes field activities such as photo hunts, photography competitions, public exhibitions, and joint projects with external photography communities across Yogyakarta. To foster internal synergy, the organization also hosts member bonding events (Makrab). As a form of practical project application, DIFIKOM offers professional photography services for academic milestones, including Student Community Service (KKN) and graduation ceremonies. Through these integrated initiatives, DIFIKOM is committed to cultivating creative, productive individuals who are equipped to contribute professionally to the creative industry and the broader public.
