RASIDA (Radio
Siaran Dakwah) is a campus-based community radio station operating under the
auspices of the Center for Da'wah Technology Development (PPTD) within the
Faculty of Da'wah and Communication at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Established on March
12, 2002, the station serves as a medium for da'wah (Islamic
propagation) and education targeting the academic community (civitas
academica) and the broader public. During its initial years of operation,
RASIDA broadcasted via the 107.7 FM frequency. In response to advancements in
information and communication technology, RASIDA subsequently transitioned to a
digital streaming broadcasting system. Currently, listeners can access RASIDA’s
broadcasts through a dedicated streaming application available for download on
the Google Play Store. RASIDA adopts the tagline “The Voice of Students,”
reflecting its identity as a medium for student expression and discourse.
