Provisionally Accredited
The Master's Program in Social Welfare at UIN Sunan Kalijaga produces graduates across four interrelated profiles: academics who possess analytical and critical competencies grounded in Islamic discourse and both classical and contemporary social welfare theories, enabling them to advance the discipline scientifically or pursue further study; lead researchers who are capable of directing research teams through the application of diverse approaches and methodologies, with the ability to publish social welfare research findings at the national and international levels; social welfare policy analysts who are equipped with advanced knowledge and skills in social policy analysis, enabling them to formulate policy briefs at the level of the state or social institutions; and humanitarian program managers who possess analytical and managerial competencies supported by innovative and contemporary approaches to micro, mezzo, and macro social work intervention, enabling them to lead social welfare organizations and Islamic philanthropic institutions in a progressive manner.
